The first time I enjoyed Gram Cafe and Pancakes was about a month ago when my friend door-dashed it for lunch at work. She showed me a picture of the CURRY UDON with a beautiful egg on top and I had to have it. She ordered it again for the both of us the same week and oh my goodness, it definitely did not disappoint. I'm not normally an Udon fan (I prefer thinner noodles) but this was delicious! The curry had a good amount of spice and I was very surprised that the Onsen egg help up so well during travel. I ended up craving the same dish again about a week later and decided to dine with my husband and another couple at the restaurant. Other dishes that we tried were the Unagi with rice and the fried oysters. Both were very tasty as well. They are connected to Shabu House so if you'd like to enjoy an alcoholic beverage, you are free to do so. The service was not that great as it took a while for someone to get our order. It was a little confusing as to whether or not we were supposed to order at the counter or someone was supposed to come take our order. In the end, someone took our order at the table and food came out hot and pretty quick. *Note: they do serve their breakfast menu all day so we'll have to come back to try some of their breakfast dishes!

Like most customers, I was a little lost and confused on arrival to this location but it's not hard to find. It's a shabu restaurant and Gram Cafe & Pancake together in one building (so just look for a shabu place) LOL. It was super empty and quiet when we walked in but you'll know you're in the right place because you see the pancake menu and pictures. You order at the counter and then you wait. We got ours to-go but I think you can dine-in too. We got two pancakes ($5 each) with matcha and oreo flavor and only waited like 10 mins. It lasted the 20 min drive home and we put it in the fridge to eat a few hours later and it was still delicious. Very soft and fluffly and wished I ordered more. They also have seasonal flavors like salted egg yolk and use! It's worth a try if you're passing through the Milpitas area!

4.75 stars - plaza parking and Gram shares restaurant space with Shabu House Bb and I have dined here couple times so we tried a bunch of items: takoyaki (6 pieces) - bb enjoys and gets this everytime so I'd recommend haha it is a yummy appetizer to share salted egg yolk and pork floss fluffy pancake - typically I don't really like salted egg yolk but the flavors worked well here, a good balance of sweet and savory matcha creme brulee fluffy pancake - this was definitely creamy and thicker texture than the matcha fluffy pancakes but not a too big of a difference between the two, the creme brulee one might stand out more so I'll consider trying it in the future curry spaghetti - restaurant ran out of udon so I opt for spaghetti instead of rice, it was pretty standard waygu beef curry - this item surprised me.. in a good way! hamburger patty was delicious, juicy and flavorful. everything tasted great (guess that's what my spaghetti was missing lol...) and I highly recommend this item restaurant is too good for large groups, about 5 tables most with some seating at most 4 persons Can't wait to be back!

Can't believe I forgot to review this place. I've been here several times. I think the first time was during their opening week / soft opening. However, I never dinned in, usually got things to go. I finally stopped by with a few friends to dine in and try the food instead of just the desserts. Overall my experience was a 3.5 *** rounded up to four just because the food was tasty. I think Gram Cafe might be struggling to get hire more people...they seemed understaffed. We only saw two people that were doing everything! The Great Resignation & the pandemic might have a bit to do with this...just show some patience. Those two were doing the best they could. They got all our orders correct and brought everything out. Items I devoured: ~ Cool Premium TOGO Box - 5/5 ~ PREMIUM FLAVOR: SALTED EGG YOLK - 5/5 ~ CLASSIC PANCAKES - 5/5 ~ EGGS BENEDICT PANCAKES - 5/5 ~ WAGYU BEEF BURGER PANCAKE - 5/5 ~ HOT PREMIUM PANCAKES: CREME BRULEE - 5/5 ~ HOT PREMIUM PANCAKES: STRAWBERRY - 4/5 The fluffy Soufflé pancakes are amazing! I'd definitely come back!

The soufflé pancake is made cold, which I think would taste better if it was warmer. It's a nice snack that was pretty fluffy. The pancake itself didn't have much flavor nor was it that sweet because the flavor was all in the cream/filling. I think the pancakes look better than it tastes. Very Instagram worthy. The dalgona drinks were okay. The sesame was just a sesame shake after you mix it up, but the coffee had a stronger taste than regular coffee.
